Viral Vs. Bacterial Pneumonia

If you have been diagnosed with pneumonia, do you know which kind it is? There are actually several different types of pneumonia but the two most common are viral and bacterial. Although some of the symptoms are similar, treatment can be very different.

Bacterial Pneumonia

Bacterial pneumonia is more likely to cause severe symptoms and needs to be treated with antibiotics. You can also develop bacterial pneumonia if you already have viral pneumonia. Get the information you need to know about bacterial pneumonia.
