Natural Cold Remedies That Work

Thankfully, I don't get colds a lot and I can't remember the last time that I had the flu. But for the few times that I get a cold, I remembered what my friends in Europe advised me to do: camomile tea is used by many people and yes, it does help with a cold. It's also pleasant tasting (if not bland!) and helps you relax as well. For full-blown colds, there's goldenseal tea which you can buy in any health food store. A friend's husband had bronchitis and it cured him. The joke is that the tea tastes so bad, that you'll want to get well immediately!

Osha

Last year, after antibiotics, etc., didn't work for my pneumonia and chronic bronchitis, a Native American friend told me about Osha Root. Now, each time I start to get congested, have a cough, etc., I chew a walnut sized bit of Osha and it clears it right up. It is safe with all medicines, tastes just awful but it works. I chew it until the good is gone, spit it out and top it off with a big cup of Peppermint tea.
