Should You Take Aspirin?

By November 7, 2012

Follow me on:

Aspirin can be taken for many different reasons, including reducing a fever and relieving pain. It can be a very effective medication and is widely available and inexpensive, but it isn't right for everyone.

Aspirin shouldn't be given to children under age 18 unless specifically instructed to do so by a physician. If you have certain medical conditions or are on blood thinners, you need to discuss it with your health care provider before you take aspirin.

Learn more about who can take aspirin, when to take it and what it can do for you.
