When you get a stomach virus, you may blame any number of things. The last meal you ate, the flu, the sick kid down the street. But chances are, the real culprit is a bug called norovirus. Although norovirus is frequently called "the cruise ship virus", it is actually the most common cause of the illness whose main symptoms include vomiting and diarrhea. And you don't have to be on a cruise ship to get it.
