Common Cold Myths

Friday March 2, 2007

The common cold is an illness that nearly everyone has had at some point in their lives, but few people really understand it. Because the cold is so common, most people just assume they know all about it even though much of the information they have may be incorrect. So, how do you separate fact from fiction? You can probably find the answers if you do a little research. But because there is a lot of bad information out there, it may leave you feeling more confused than before you started.

We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions about the common cold. You can trust that the answers are accurate because they are backed up by evidence based research and trusted agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

This list is just beginning. If you have any other questions about the common cold, leave a comment or email me and we will add your question to the list.
